Meet the Team

James Lovell, BSc, MSci 

James qualified as a chartered Sports Therapist from the University of Chichester in 2021. During his undergraduate degree, James was fortunate enough to gain valuable hands on experience working with local sports teams, gyms and clinics.

​

In 2019, he featured as part of a team of therapists which covered local sporting events such as the Bournemouth 7's festival, the Poole Festival of running and the Moreton frolic. 

​

Whilst completing his integrated Masters degree in Sports Therapy, James completed a year in industry working for the professional Rugby Union club Ospreys throughout the 2020/21 season. This involved working alongside international players, including British & Irish Lions, providing the assessment of sporting neuromusculoskeletal injuries, along with their associated treatments and bespoke rehabilitation plans.

As of June 2021, James became certified in Dry Needling at Level 5 for Sports Massage Therapy. James has been the Lead Sports Therapist for Oakmeadians RFC from 2021 and has developed his acute injury and management skills fourfold.

​

James has been working closely with the elderly population and has been performing exercise and mobility classes suitable for individuals wanting to improve their strength, mobility and balance. These classes are tailored to individuals affected by Parkinsons, Dementia and Stroke, where they can reduce falls and improve their social interaction and overall wellbeing.

​

More recently, as of Winter 2022, James has been the Lead Sports Therapist for Dorset & Wiltshire County RFC U16's and U18's Girls.

Ross Philo, BSc, MChiro 

 

Ross our Chiropractor qualified from The AECC University College, Bournemouth in 2022. He takes a more modern approach to chiropractic . Rather than focusing solely on spinal manipulation his treatment is patient centred using the most up to date evidence based methods. This includes chiropractic manipulation, joint mobilisation, soft tissue work, stretching, exercise therapy and education on conditions to help you meet your goals and keep obstacles from getting in the way of your health.

 

He has a keen interest in sports having competed in rugby, football, rounders, dodgeball. Whilst also enjoying rock climbing, running, tennis, volleyball, badminton, snowboarding and skate boarding.

Our therapist will go above and beyond to locate the source of your pain so that we can receive a complete and accurate diagnosis. Our totally individualised treatments are designed to improve your symptoms from the first session onwards, allowing us to reduce your discomfort as rapidly as possible.

There is onsite parking at a charge, but also free parking bays are available located just a short walk away.
