CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING POLICY

A late cancellation is avoidable. However, life is unpredictable and we of course understand that. In some cases there is an unavoidable problem such as illness, hospitalisation and transport failure. We of course take this into consideration. 

 

Patient non-attendance does cause problems. Late cancellations and non-attendance means that we are unable offer our time to other patients waiting for appointments, resulting in a delay in treatment and unnecessary pain.

 

The Recovery Hub applies the below charges to allow us to cover administrative cost and hopefully it acts as a minor deterrent.

 

We are more than happy to help move your appointment as long as you give us enough notice. If not, there may be a small charge as stated below:

 

Cancelling under 24 hours before your appointment = 25% of the session rate

Cancelling under 12 hours before your appointment = 50% of the session rate

Cancelling under 2 hours before your appointment or No Show = 100% of the session rate

 

In reference to Groupon vouchers;

 

Cancelling under 24 hours before your appointment or a no show will result in the redemption of the voucher without treatment

 

 

We ask that patients settle all cancellation and non-attendance charges prior to next appointment. The Recovery Hub reserves the right to pass on any debts which remain outstanding for 3 months after the appointment date to a debt collector. The debtor may incur debt collecting charges (typically a 40% surcharge on outstanding debt).
